We wanted to share some more information to help you plan your trip - everything from how to get here to the best places to stay. We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us to celebrate our wedding in Portugal! 
 

Our venue is located at the VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, right on the beach in Salgados, near Albufeira. It’s about a 40-minute drive from Faro Airport, making it really easy to reach.

Flights
There are direct flights to Faro from most UK airports with airlines like Jet2, Ryanair, and easyJet. Flights are regular, especially in summer, and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. We'd recommend booking early to get the best fares!

Getting from Faro Airport
Once you land, it’s a straightforward 40-minute journey by taxi or private transfer to the hotel. There are also shared airport shuttle options if you prefer, or you can hire a car if you’d like to explore more of the Algarve during your stay. 
 

Where to Stay
You’re welcome to stay at the VidaMar Resort itself — it's a beautiful hotel with pools, gardens, restaurants, and direct beach access. 

If you’d prefer something different, there are lots of great hotels, apartments, and villas nearby in Salgados and Gale, and Albufeira town is only a short 10-minute taxi ride away with even more options. 
 

Packages
There are also great package deals available through Jet2Holidays and EasyJet Holidays, bundling flights and hotel stays together — definitely worth a look if you want to keep things simple.
